Chiara Passa (Rome, 1973) trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Her production combines different media and approaches: animations and interactive video installations, digital art in public contexts, internet-related projects, video-mapping, devices for mobile platforms. Starting from the tools that new technologies make available, Passa experiments in a rigorous and personal way with new possibilities of their use, reflecting on the specificities of the media themselves. Her work has been exhibited at important art institutions such as: Vancouver Art Gallery; MAK - Museum of contemporary art, Vienna; MAXXI, Rome and Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Centro per l'arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato; MACRO, Rome; GAM, Turin; Venice Biennale. |
